1. What OwnMyWork is

OwnMyWork is a business services platform operated by 3th Floor Studios LLC, a Utah limited liability company. We provide tools that help content creators manage and protect their businesses: DMCA takedown filing, tax estimation, Wyoming LLC formation, and related resources.

By using OwnMyWork, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. That's it. No tricks.

2. What OwnMyWork is NOT

This is important. Please read it.

  • We are not a law firm. Using our DMCA takedown tool or LLC formation service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing on this platform is legal advice. DMCA notices we file on your behalf are prepared based on the information you provide and legal templates. They are not reviewed by an attorney before submission.
  • We are not a CPA or tax advisor. The tax calculator provides estimates based on general deduction categories. It is not a substitute for a qualified tax professional. Your actual tax liability will depend on your specific situation, filing status, and applicable law.
  • We are not a financial advisor. Nothing on OwnMyWork is investment advice or financial planning guidance.

When something is beyond our scope, we'll tell you and point you toward someone who can actually help.

3. Your responsibilities

DMCA Takedowns

When you submit a takedown request, you are certifying under penalty of perjury that:

  • You are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • The content identified in your notice actually infringes your copyright
  • The information you've provided is accurate

Filing a false or fraudulent DMCA notice is a federal offense. Do not submit notices for content you do not own or content that does not infringe your copyright. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we believe is abusing the takedown process.

LLC Formation

You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide for your LLC filing is accurate and complete. Errors or omissions in the information you provide may delay your filing or create legal complications. Once a filing is submitted to the state, we cannot guarantee changes can be made without additional fees.

Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].

4. What we provide

Free Tools

The tax calculator and DMCA takedown generator are available free of charge for basic use. Free tools are provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to keep them accurate and functional, but we don't guarantee specific outcomes.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions give you access to enhanced features, tracked case histories, priority handling, and additional services as described on the pricing page. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. You can cancel at any time -- cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

LLC Formation

LLC formation is a one-time service with a flat fee. This fee includes our service charge and state filing fees. State filing fees are non-refundable once a filing has been submitted. Our service fee is refundable only if we have not yet submitted your filing to the state.

Early Adopter Pricing

Customers who sign up during our early adopter period are locked into their pricing for the life of their account as long as their subscription remains active. If you cancel and later reactivate, standard pricing at that time applies.

5. Content and conduct

You may use OwnMyWork only for lawful purposes. You may not use the platform to:

  • File fraudulent or bad-faith DMCA notices
  • Submit false information in any filing or form
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
  • Harass, impersonate, or harm other users or third parties
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

We serve all legal businesses. We do not discriminate based on the type of content you create, as long as your business and use of our platform are legal.

6. Intellectual property

OwnMyWork and its content, features, and functionality are owned by 3th Floor Studios LLC. The OwnMyWork name, logo, and associated marks are our property.

The content you create and the copyright you hold in your work remains yours. We claim no ownership over your content. When you submit a DMCA notice, you authorize us to use the information you provide solely for the purpose of filing that notice on your behalf.

7. Limitation of liability

OwnMyWork provides tools and services to help you manage your business. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from any DMCA notice, LLC filing, or tax estimation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3th Floor Studios LLC is not liable for:

  • A platform's failure to respond to or comply with a DMCA notice
  • State processing delays or rejections of LLC filings
  • Tax liabilities, penalties, or outcomes resulting from estimates provided by our calculator
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of OwnMyWork is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse our services, or engage in fraudulent activity.

If we terminate your account for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund for the current billing period. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a violation on your part, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused portion of your subscription.

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Utah. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of OwnMyWork will be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Most problems don't need a lawyer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date means you accept the updated terms.

We will not retroactively change terms in ways that harm existing users without their consent.

If you see something on the platform that doesn't look right, let us know. We'd rather fix a problem than have it become a bigger one.
